Frequently Asked Questions
What size are the generated mockup images?
The output size depends on the device frame you choose. For example, the iPhone mockup produces an image approximately 495 × 980 pixels (including the device border), while the MacBook mockup is approximately 1560 × 1040 pixels. The background area adds extra padding around the device.
Are my screenshots uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your screenshots never leave your device and are never sent to any server. Your privacy is fully protected.
What image formats are supported for upload?
You can upload screenshots in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format. The tool automatically scales your screenshot to fit the chosen device frame while preserving clarity.
Which device frames are available?
The tool currently offers five device frames: iPhone (375 × 812 portrait), MacBook (1440 × 900 landscape), iPad (1024 × 1366 portrait), Android Phone (360 × 780 portrait), and a generic Browser Window. Each frame is drawn programmatically with realistic details.
Can I use these mockups for commercial purposes?
Yes. The device frames are generic, programmatically generated shapes and are not trademarked assets. You are free to use the mockup images you create for portfolios, presentations, app store listings, social media, and any commercial projects.
